The painting seem to be born with the assurance of a profound understanding of the ocean and the present world of sailingand racing. The palette of her recent work is largely reduced to CaribbeanOcean tones : purple, green, white and a full of spectrum of blue occasionally flushing into pinks or snapping into red, yellow or gold. Colors are brushed or knifed roughly into and onto one another, so that an unlimited range of blue is modulated and stimulated in a very peaceful way...just like the dance of the ocean, strong and still, dictated by a cumulative rhythm of the emotions of the waterworld. |
